Master Defense: Congratulations to Daniel Carvalho on His Outstanding Achievement

We are proud to announce that Daniel Carvalho has successfully defended his Master’s thesis in Cellular and Molecular Biology – specialization in Biomedicine at the University of Coimbra. His thesis, entitled “Exploring the Role of miRNAs in Wound Healing and Regenerative Medicine”, was defended on September 24, 2024, marking the successful conclusion of his Master’s degree.

Daniel earned an exceptional grade of 19 out of 20, finishing his degree with a final average of 18, a testament to his commitment, scientific curiosity, and perseverance throughout this academic journey.

His research was supervised by Dr. Hugo Fernandes and Dr. Cristina Blanco, whose guidance and mentorship played a key role in the development of this work.

Daniel also expressed his gratitude to MIA Portugal and the University of Coimbra for providing the necessary support and conditions that enabled this achievement.
