ACT Lab at the UC-BioTalks Seminar Series

The final session of the 1st UC-BioTalks seminar series took place on 30 June 2026 at UC-Biotech auditorium, bringing together members of the research community to promote scientific exchange and strengthen collaborations across different research groups.

Representing the ACT Lab, Cláudia Deus delivered a seminar entitled "From Molecular Mechanisms to RNA-Based Therapies in Diabetes", where she presented the group's research on the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetes and the development of innovative RNA-based therapeutic approaches. The presentation highlighted the translational potential of the ACT Lab's work and stimulated engaging discussions with researchers from different scientific backgrounds.

The session also featured a presentation by Inês Lopes (Ana Eulálio Group), entitled "Staphylococcus aureus Intracellular Lifestyle: Phenotypic Profiles and Underlying Molecular Determinants".

The UC-BioTalks seminar series has provided an important platform for fostering interaction among researchers within the UC-Biotech community, encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue and the sharing of scientific knowledge.

The ACT Lab is proud to have contributed to the closing session of this successful initiative.
