Expofacic 2024

Another incredible experience at Expofacic. The ACT (Advanced Cell Technology) laboratory engaged with the public through interactive, hands-on experiments and delivered a seminar on the hallmarks of ageing and the role of stem cells on Regenerative Medicine.

 Our team shared insights into how stem cells can revolutionize medicine, offering hope for treating various diseases and injuries. The engagement and thoughtful questions from the audience highlighted the growing interest and importance of this field.

A special thanks for Cláudia Azevedo (Câmara Municipal Cantanhede) for the invitation and Maria João Freitas, Sara Amaral, Ana Santos Carvalho for the amazing work of putting this together. The activities were only possible given the enthusiasm and dedication of ACT members Cláudia Deus, Cristina Blanco and Ana Nobre.
