European Researchers’ Night UC 2025

On September 26, 2025, downtown Coimbra hosted the European Researchers’ Night (NEI) under the theme “Science for Global Challenges”.

The event featured the Science Route, with 93 activity points, over 600 researchers, technicians, students, from 30 UC research centers, and the collaboration of local associations and businesses.

MIA-Portugal joined the initiative, sharing research on the biological processes of aging and associated pathologies. The GreenLabs CiBB were also present at several stands, raising awareness about sustainability practices in research and promoting eco-friendly approaches in science.

It was a night of connection, discovery, and celebration, where people of all ages explored how science contributes to addressing global challenges.
