COST Senescence Meeting, 8-9 Sep´26
Updated: 2 days ago
The ACT Lab researchers, Cláudia Deus and Cristina Blanco, attend the COST Senescence Meeting in Naples, Italy.
Cláudia’s participation was supported by a Young Researchers and Innovators Grant, providing the opportunity to present the team’s work and engage with researchers from across the scientific community.
During the meeting, Cláudia delivered an oral presentation on the role of microRNAs in metabolic diseases, sharing recent findings and discussing how miRNA-based approaches may contribute to understanding metabolic dysfunction and inform the development of future therapeutic strategies.
Beyond the presentations, the meeting offered opportunities for scientific exchange, discussion and the sharing of ideas across different areas of expertise. These conversations can help generate new perspectives, inspire further research and foster potential collaborations.
The ACT Lab researchers thank the organizers for the stimulating scientific programme and engaging discussions. They return to Coimbra with new ideas and renewed enthusiasm for the next steps in their research.
