The Clinical Trials With|Out|Borders 2026 scientific congress will take place on 19 - 20 November 2026 at Polo III – Health Sciences Campus, University of Coimbra, bringing together a multidisciplinary and international community working towards the future of clinical research.
Supported by the Portuguese Society for Stem Cells and Cell Therapies (SPCE-TC), the congress will bring together academic researchers, universities, healthcare professionals, industry partners, and patient representatives, with the aim of strengthening connections between scientific research, clinical practice, and the community.
The meeting will promote a collaborative and transparent approach to clinical research, creating opportunities for dialogue, training, knowledge exchange, mentorship, and co-creation. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing clinical trials that are scientifically rigorous, ethically sound, and aligned with patients' real needs.
The congress will also provide opportunities for researchers to present their work to a multidisciplinary audience. Submitted abstracts will be eligible to compete for the SPCE-TC Award for Best Project in Clinical Trials.
The event will further encourage the involvement of the next generation of clinician-scientists, fostering collaboration and early engagement in clinical research.
