Cláudia Deus, Assistant Researcher at the ACT Lab, participated in the 1st Editatona Mulheres na Ciência, an initiative organized by Ciência Viva in collaboration with Wikimedia Portugal to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The event brought together researchers, science communicators, and volunteers with the shared goal of creating and improving Wikipedia entries that highlight the work, achievements, and legacy of Portuguese women scientists. By contributing to the visibility of women in science, the initiative aims to help reduce the gender gap in online scientific content while promoting equal recognition of women's contributions to research and innovation.

Through her participation, Cláudia Deus joined a collaborative effort to make scientific knowledge more accessible and to inspire future generations by showcasing the achievements of Portuguese women researchers.

The ACT Lab is proud to support initiatives that promote scientific outreach, diversity, and gender equality, recognizing the importance of increasing the visibility of women in science and encouraging broader public engagement with research.
